Greeting Friends & Fellow Laborers:
A brief message from Bro. Tolbert:
In the Old Testament, God called Moses, and while there, he received the blueprints of how to build the Wilderness Tabernacle. In Hebrews 8:5, Paul reminded us that Moses had tp build according to God's plan. Any other plan would not have God's Spirit upon it.
Modern Pentecost, in too many areas, is trying to write new plans for God. But it simply will not work; it has cost the church her anointing. To experience Pentecost afresh, we must do our first works over again; return to God's blueprint. The greatest loss in modern Pentecost is the inability to tarry; to wait on God. The cry of Christ in his last message to the church was, "Tarry at Jerusalem, wait for the promise of the Father." in Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." God has time to meet the believer for every need they may have, whether it be person, church, or movement, if they will commit to waiting on God. I have heard it stated that the early church may have tarried as long as 10 days before the first outpouring came. Every great revival the church has ever experienced always came as a result of someone waiting on God. Pentecostal churches must return to the altar and the prayer closet! Jesus said, "Could ye not watch with me but one hour?"
Thank you, friends and supporters, for giving to this ministry. Because of your giving, this year already, we have purchased 13 motorcycles for pastors in the Philippines and 1 for a pastor in Africa. We have also bought a vehicle for a Filipino pastor, built 2 churches (1 by a couple in Alabama), and also renovated 2 churches in the Philippines. We bought food and supplies for storm victims from a typhoon that hit the Philippines earlier this year. We continue to support 39 pastors overseas and two local ministers that work overseas. We also support 7 mission works, one of which is feeding children and the elderly. One of our home mission outreaches is a CD that we mail out every other month; a message that Bro. Tolbert has preached recently, or in times past. And of course, our other outreach is evangelizing, however Bro. Tolbert is in rehab right now, so he won't be preaching again until October.
Bro. Tolbert and I cannot thank you enough for your giving. it truly amazes me how God has kept us on the evangelistic field some 34 years and all of you have played a big role in that, since Bro. Tolbert's stroke in 2016. Thank you so much for your love and prayers and it is our prayer that God will bless and keep you in His love.
Sincerely,
David & Judy Tolbert
